Gluten Free Chinese Chicken Noodle Soup Recipe
When many people get sick, they want soup … chicken noodle soup, to be exact. While you could open a can of gluten free chicken noodle soup and dump it into a pan, with just a few more very simple steps, you could make this Gluten Free Chinese Chicken Noodle Soup recipe.
This recipe is healthier than canned soup and includes some fresh ingredients that are particularly therapeutic for the immune system.
Garlic contains compounds that help fight germs and viruses. Some studies have shown that people who consume garlic regularly have less chance of catching colds and if they do catch a cold, their symptoms are shorter.
Ginger is also a great immune booster, due to its antibacterial properties. It’s also good for tummy troubles and nausea.
And, the noodles I use for this dish – Organic Brown Rice Pad Thai Noodles from Explore Cuisine – are organic and full of whole grain nutrients for yet another boost.
Whether you’re feeling under the weather or not, this is a delicious, healthy, and soup-er simple meal!
