This is such a refreshing yet hot and flavorful mocktail to enjoy on a cold winter night. The blending of cranberry juice with apple cider is always good, but when you combine them with the apple slices and spices, you have a winning combination.

Ingredients

  • ½ medium apple
  • 2 whole cloves
  • cups cranberry juice
  • cups apple cider
  • ¼ cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  • Cut the apple into 1-inch wedges. Stick one clove into one of the apple wedges and the other clove into another apple wedge.
  • In a pot on the stove, combine all the ingredients and turn to medium heat. Once it begins to boil, turn the heat to low and let cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve warm.
