Vegan Peppermint Hot Chocolate Recipe

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¾ teaspoon pure peppermint extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon monk fruit extract or 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup/agave
  • Optional toppings:
  • Vegan whipped cream
  • Crushed peppermint candies


  • Put all ingredients into a high-powered blender. Blend on high until smooth and serve immediately. Top with whipped cream and peppermint candies, if desired.
