Taste Republic was born from a passion to help. In 2008, wanting to solve the longstanding – and previously unsolved – challenge to make a gluten-free, fresh pasta that had the same amazing taste and texture as its regular counterpart. Taste Republic’s cofounders’ inspiration came from a friend that got diagnosed with celiac disease and could no longer eat traditional pasta. Taste Republic’s five founders focused on blending purpose, passion, and pasta to create what’s become one of the most popular gluten-free brands. That drive led to the creation of numerous gluten-free and grain-free pastas that continue to set the standard for what’s possible.
There are so many delicious pastas that Taste Republic produce, but my favorite has to be the Plant-Based Sausage Raviolo. This raviolo is made with brown rice flour, Beyond Meat® Italian sausage crumbles and Wisconsin cheese, their Plant-Based Sausage Ravioli is crafted to deliver on both taste and texture. The dough is made with egg and milk, therefore the pasta itself is NOT plant-based. Only the sausage is! To make it less confusing Taste Republic color coordinated their packages:
- Teal package = gluten-free
- White package = gluten & grain-free
- Navy package = gluten-free & cerified plant-based
