When I think of summer, I think of cherries. With that in mind, I thought I would share with you one of my cherry flavored self-invented cocktails, Shirley Not Temple. This cocktail bursts with ripe cherry flavor and refreshing citrus notes, but isn’t overwhelmed by thick syrups. For parties, make a double or triple batch and serve in a big punch bowl.

  • 6 ounces cherry vodka
  • 12 ounces lemon-lime soda
  • 1 ounce grenadine


  • Pour all of the ingredients into a punch bowl and stir well. When ready to serve, fill up short glasses with ice, stir the mixture again, and pour into glasses.
