Warm up on a chilly day with a cup of cocoa that’s non-alcoholic, so both the big kids and the little ones can enjoy it. This recipe blends classic hot cocoa with a touch of peppermint and vanilla for something special.

Ingredients
- ¾ cup milk I use 2%
- 1½ tablespoons hot cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Marshmallow or whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Pour the milk into a coffee cup and heat it up in the microwave until very warm. Pour in the cocoa powder and stir until it dissolves. Pour in the peppermint and vanilla extracts and stir well. Top it off with marshmallows and/or whipped cream if desired.
