Ingredients
- 3 pounds fresh stone fruit (nectarines, peaches, plums, cherries), washed, pitted, and diced
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 limes , juiced
- Vanilla ice cream (regular or dairy-free), for serving
- Whipped cream (regular or dairy-free), for serving
Instructions
- Use a 6-quart slow cooker. Place the diced fruit into the slow cooker and stir in the sugar, vanilla, and lime juice. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours, or on high for about 2 hours. Stir well and serve over ice cream with fresh whipped cream.
- Leftovers can be eaten warm or cold.
