San J Super Bowl Wings

Oven Roasted Korean BBQ Wings

I must admit – I never cared too much for football. I preferred to spend Super Bowl Sunday at the movie theater while the men in my family took over the house and cheered on their favorite team. I’d prep some basics snacks before I left for the movies, lest those men go starving during the game, and I’d hightail it out of the house before the madness ensued. But there were occasions when I’d stay and enjoy the revelry … typically when the San Francisco 49ers were playing!

The 49ers are playing this year, which means I’ll be watching. In fact, I even bought a 49ers t-shirt to show my support. You see, if you didn’t already know this about me, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 22 years. I have so many wonderful memories in the Bay Area, so of course I’m in full support of the 49ers!

So, since I’ll be watching the game, I decided I’m going to make some snacks that I personally will enjoy eating, starting with these Oven Roasted Korean BBQ Wings. These babies are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and are made extra-flavorful with the help of San-J Korean BBQ Sauce. These have a little more pizzazz than traditional BBQ wings, which in my opinion is like adding a dash of San Francisco to an already delicious appetizer!

Stay tuned for two more game day recipes next week!
