Bread. It’s perhaps the most challenging part of being gluten-free. Cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods can be made to taste exactly the same as their gluten-filled counterparts, but breads and bread-like products are more challenging. This is why companies like BFree are so important to the gluten-free community. They offer us a chance to experience the foods we may have deprived ourselves of for a while, simply because we couldn’t replicate making them ourselves and/or couldn’t find them on store shelves. Luckily, BFree is here for us! They make delicious products that are not only gluten-free, but vegan-friendly, dairy-free, and non-GMO. Milk is an essential in many homes – from a splash in your morning coffee to the accompaniment to your favorite cereal to an essential in baking, milk does it all. If you’re no longer drinking cow’s milk and you’re looking for an alternative that’s just as creamy, try goat’s milk! Goat’s milk is more popular than cow’s milk in every part of the world except the United States – and for good reason. Goat’s milk contains lower levels of casein protein than cow’s milk, plus it’s a different type of casein. Goat’s milk has A-2 beta casein, versus the A1-beta casein found in cow’s milk. And, it contains less of the alpha s-1 casein. Goat’s milk also contains less lactose than cow’s milk and has smaller fat particles. Just add a protein or vegetable of your choice and the rest of the ingredients are provided for you. If you’re looking for a reliable protein company to get powders and bars from, Paleo Pro is a great choice. Paleo Pro makes protein powder, protein bars, collagen powder, and more, all of which are primarily consisting of grass fed beef protein. Paleo Pro is great for those who can’t or don’t want to consume whey protein. If you didn’t think cosmetics need to be gluten free, think again. Makeup and cosmetics are little known sources of hidden gluten. Although the pores of our skin are much too small for the gluten protein to penetrate, many people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity avoid gluten in cosmetics because if it’s on your face or body, chances are it can end up making its way inside, whether through licking your lipstick or getting mascara in your eyes or getting topical products into cuts and blemishes on your face.
